Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Experience with asphalt, concrete, gravel yard, or crusher facilities.

Responsibilities

Job description

Park Paving is a locally owned and operated company with 50 years of experience, making it one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. We are seeking a Field Maintenance Supervisor responsible for field repairs, overseeing, and scheduling of field mechanics on construction equipment.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic
• Experience working on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators, paving equipment)
• Valid Heavy Duty Mechanic License

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and mentor mechanics/welders in the field
2. Schedule and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance
3. Manage work on various construction equipment in the field
4. Plan, schedule, and complete maintenance and repairs at plant sites (asphalt, concrete, gravel)
5. Assist mechanics with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
6. Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to ensure timely service and equipment availability

Minimum Requirements:

• Heavy Duty Technician license
• Valid CVIP license
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Supervisor
• Experience with asphalt, concrete, gravel yard, or crusher facilities
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and a clean 5-year commercial abstract
