Forbes Bros. Group of Companies is seeking a Labourer for full-time, permanent roles at transmission construction projects in Canada.

You will perform physical tasks, assist crews, and help prepare sites while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications

• General knowledge of construction principles and maintenance methods.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to travel for overtime/weekend schedules as project needs arise.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Class 5A driver’s license, Class 1A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Digging and back-filling trenches.
• Pulling and placing underground and overhead cables.
• Carrying and moving materials as needed.
• Operating small equipment and hand tools.
• Spotting for vehicles and equipment.

• Assisting craft/crew members as directed.
• Following instructions and adhering to safe work practices.
• Developing skills on varied and challenging tasks.
• Working safely and contributing to safety improvements.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned.
