Job summary

Telecon Inc. is looking for an Installation and Project Supervisor in Calgary. The role involves up to 65% travel across Alberta and includes a company vehicle, gas card, laptop and phone.

You will oversee the availability, reliability and security of customer network assets, performing daily tasks to monitor performance, resolve issues and support ongoing operations. Responsibilities include installation of fiber optic systems, monitoring, fault isolation, and coordination with repair services.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber cabling and fusion splicing for network communications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, reliability and security of customer networks.
• Monitor network performance and maintain safeguards.
• Install equipment, racks and cabling across multiple provinces.
• Maintain daily logs and trouble condition reports.
• Coordinate repair activities and participate in fault location techniques.
