ABSA, the pressure equipment safety authority, invites applications for a Boiler & Pressure Equipment Inspector (Safety Codes Officer) in the Edmonton Region. The role focuses on inspecting pressure equipment, advising owners and operators, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.
The successful candidate will lead field inspections, coach others, and maintain high safety standards while working within ABSA’s values.
ABSA is seeking industry leaders to join a technical team of Field Inspectors at our Edmonton location. ABSA seeks individuals who are passionately engaged in safety codes and regulations, willing to invest time into their career and value a respectful workplace.
ABSA operates in a technically complex industry and invests in professionals willing to develop their career to the top of the industry. The typical initial training period is two years to become fully qualified as a Field Inspector.
As a Field Inspector you will interact directly with a variety of Owners and Operators in both the public and private sectors to complete inspections, provide guidance and advising on matters pertaining to pressure equipment safety.
