Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
  2. Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
  3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards of practice set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
  5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.
  6. Ensure reliable availability based on the employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs.
  7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet established timelines for appointments and treatments.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to schedule appointments and coordinate drug delivery.
  9. Participate in team web-based meetings and training sessions to maintain and enhance professional standards.
  10. Participate in specialized client-related training as required.
  11. Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations and Innomar.
  12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  13. Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
  14. Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  15. Follow all health and safety standards as per provincial regulations.
  16. Complete ongoing and annual training within specified timeframes.
  17. Perform other related duties as required.
  18. Be available on standby/on call as needed.
Experience and Educational Requirements
  1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
  2. At least 1 year experience in IV initiation.
  3. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
  4. Experience in critical care, emergency, or homecare settings.
  5. ACLS, PALS, MS, and CVAA certifications, and central venous line experience are assets.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet use.
  7. Access to reliable internet connection.
  8. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and travel within the geographical area.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  1. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  2. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  3. Effective communication skills.
  4. Interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  5. Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Hold and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
