Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Administer medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinic settings.
2. Assess and monitor pre and post-injection/infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.
3. Complete necessary documentation based on policies, procedures, and standards set by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
4. Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.
5. Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies and procedures.
6. Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and Clinics KPIs, based on employment agreements.
7. Communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet scheduling and treatment timelines.
8. Coordinate with patients/caregivers for appointments and drug delivery.
9. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to maintain professional standards.
10. Engage in specialized client training as required.
11. Adhere to professional nursing standards and Innomar guidelines.
12. Work collaboratively within the healthcare team, providing oversight and delegation to RPN/LPN as authorized.
13. Travel within designated areas to meet operational needs.
14. Follow all standard operating procedures and health and safety standards.
15. Complete ongoing and annual training within required timeframes.
16. Perform other duties as required by Innomar.
17. Be available on standby/on call as needed.

Experience and Educational Requirements

1. Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse required.
2. Minimum of 1 year experience with IV initiation.
3. Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
4. Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient, or homecare setting.
5. Assets include ACLS, PALS, MS, CVAA certifications, and central venous line experience.
6. Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet use.
7. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
8. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
9. Willingness to travel within the designated area.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

1. Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is advantageous.
2. Strong critical thinking, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
3. Effective time management, ability to meet deadlines, and work independently.
4. Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may have daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams.
