Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer medications in patients' homes, specialty clinics, and Physician Partnership clinics.
  • Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection/infusion treatments as per program protocols.
  • Complete documentation following policies, procedures, and standards of practice from the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation.
  • Provide patient and caregiver education based on product monographs and protocols, either individually or in groups.
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints according to Innomar policies and training.
  • Ensure reliable availability to meet the needs of the IBU and key performance indicators for nursing and clinics, based on employment agreements.
  • Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including case managers, physicians, pharmacy, and scheduling to meet appointment and treatment timelines.
  • Coordinate with patients and caregivers to set up appointments and drug deliveries both at home and in clinics.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions with management and nurse champions to maintain professional standards.
  • Engage in specialized client training as required.
  • Adhere to professional nursing standards and work collaboratively within the healthcare team, delegating tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized.
  • Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards.
  • Complete ongoing and annual training within required timeframes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Innomar.
  • Be available for standby/on-call duties as needed.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Registered Nurse with relevant experience required.
  • At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
  • Current registration with a licensing body and CPR certification.
  • Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care, or homecare settings.
  • Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, MS, and CVAA are assets, as is experience with central venous lines or ports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and internet use.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and autonomous working skills.
  • Ability to travel within the designated geographical area.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry is an asset.
  • Business and financial acumen is an asset.
  • Critical thinking, effective communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance coverage.

The successful candidate may interact daily with English-speaking clients, patients, or team members from cross-functional backgrounds.
