Job summary

GeoVerra is seeking a Forestry & Environmental team member to assist in field projects across Canada. You will conduct field assessments, analyze GIS data, and support project teams and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality results for responsible land and resource management.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in natural resources, GIS experience, and the ability to travel and work outdoors in all conditions. This role offers growth, education, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in natural resource sector
• Registered (where eligible) with PVMA, AAFMP, FPBC, ASPB, AIA
• Field experience in wildlife sweeps and wetland assessments
• Familiarity with Public Lands Act, Water Act, Wildlife Act is asset
• Able to travel and lift 50lbs
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and operations projects in field and office
• Complete field analyses to support regulatory applications and timber assessments
• Complete watercourse/QAES assessments and wildlife surveys
• Liaise with stakeholders, regulators, partners, and landowners
• Create, attribute, and analyze GIS data
