Job summary

NexGold Mining Corp. is seeking an Environmental Technician based at the Goliath Gold Complex near Dryden, ON. You will support field sampling programs, ensure protocol adherence, and assist in environmental reporting, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

You will help coordinate field activities, manage data quality, and contribute to environmental documents. The role requires field work in varied conditions and a valid Ontario G license.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in an applicable environmental field.
• Experience working in a field-based environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with evolving priorities.
• Willingness to work outdoors on rough terrain in various weather.
• Valid Ontario G license.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and excellence.
• Collaborate within a team to achieve defined objectives.
• Support field programs, data handling, and timely reporting of sampling protocols.
• Coordinate co-op students and contractors as needed.
• Participate in stakeholder events as required.
• Promote environmental performance within the site team and with stakeholders.
• Assist in permits and programs as applicable.
• Analyze and manage environmental data to ensure quality standards.
