TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Field Engineering Manager role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities
  • Drive safe work practices and adherence to regulatory and project standards.
  • Manage engineering walk-downs, pressure testing programs, and field modifications.
  • Support procurement and contract teams with technical evaluations and recommendations.
  • Review and validate design documentation for accuracy, constructability, and compliance.
  • Oversee development and implementation of site-specific quality procedures and technical work processes.
  • Lead and mentor site engineering and document control teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Coordinate responses to technical inquiries and ensure timely resolution of engineering issues.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to drive planning, execution, and problem-solving initiatives.
  • Manage engineering interfaces between design and construction phases to maintain alignment with project requirements.
  • Preform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Professional Engineering designation preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in field engineering roles within large-scale industrial or mining projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary site engineering teams.
  • Strong background in concentrator or mineral processing facility construction.
  • Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with 3D model review tools such as Navisworks or SmartPlant.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across all project levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering collaboration platforms.
