Job summary

Kiewit Energy Canada District is seeking a Field Coordinator/Engineer in Calgary, AB, with an emphasis on field and office engineering support. The role offers broad travel opportunities and exposure to oil & gas projects across Canada, including oilsands processing, upgrading, refineries, midstream facilities, and power and co-generation sites.

The position requires an engineering degree and a readiness to relocate as needed, with strong safety, ethics, and teamwork values built into daily

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specs for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations and take measurements for progress tracking.
• Prepare work plans and work packages for field implementation.
• Support field surveying, elevations, control points, and as-built data compilation.
• Assist with daily labor timekeeping and JHA preparation.
• Participate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
• Schedule material deliveries and plan/coordinate field work groups.
• Supervise field operations and ensure quality execution.
