Job summary

Keller Foundations Ltd. is seeking a Field EIT in Vancouver, BC. The role splits time between design and field operations, focusing on QA/QC on projects and acting as the site liaison with management.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree or is pursuing one, has a valid driver’s license, and demonstrates strong communication and adaptability in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Civil Engineering or currently pursuing one.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to adapt to changing conditions on site.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and cost management on projects; support QA/QC activities.
• Assist design development and field engineering across multiple projects.
• Serve as site liaison and communicate with management and field teams.
• Monitor drilling and grouting operations; log work daily.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and documented.
• Travel to sites across British Columbia as needed.

Keller is actively searching for a Field EIT in Vancouver, BC. Field EITs split their time between design and operations and are responsible for quality assurance and quality control on projects. The Field EIT is also the site liaison for communications with management.

• Inspection and testing
• Design development and simultaneous field engineering on multiple projects
• Monitoring of drilling and grouting operations
• Daily logging of work completed
• Quality control supervision via real-time inspection
• Majority of working days spent on site at construction project

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Degree or technical diploma in Civil Engineering, or working towards

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment (i.e. policies, procedures, technologies and best practices)

Physical Demands

• Travel to jobsites throughout British Columbia
• Time spent sitting, standing, walking on uneven surfaces
• Work in adverse weather conditions (snow, cold, heat)

Additional Information

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 CAD

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law.
