Job summary

TC Energy’s Echo Valley Area is seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician to operate and maintain natural gas compression and related systems. The role includes troubleshooting, calibration and repairs of electronic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical controls, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of related experience, preferences for Journeyperson/Red Seal, and must be able to work across field operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years related experience in field operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, test, repair and maintain compressor station equipment and control systems.
• Install, commission, maintain and repair equipment and measurement assets.
• Troubleshoot shutdown devices, fire and gas, HVAC, and PLC systems.
• Diagnose issues, determine corrective actions, and perform safe maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors and support outages and project work.
