Job summary

Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc. seeks an EIT in Instrumentation & Controls for a 1-year contract in the Richmond Hill area. You will work on SCADA, PLCs, industrial networks, field instrumentation, and control systems alongside senior engineers to support safe, reliable pipeline operations.

Reporting to the Manager, Process & Automation Engineering, you will participate in troubleshooting, automation projects and continuous improvements while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant engineering experience in control & automation.
• Post-secondary education in Electrical, Computer, Automation or related discipline.
• Interest in industrial automation, SCADA, PLCs and programming.

Responsibilities

• Support monitoring, maintenance and readiness of ICS including PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and field devices.
• Assist with design, review and implementation of control system solutions.
• Support field troubleshooting of PLCs, sensors, pumps and valves.
