Aquilla Archaeology Ltd. is looking for a Field Director Archaeologist to join their team in Nanaimo, BC. This role involves leading archaeological assessments and collaborating with a supportive team while working with Indigenous communities.

Successful candidates will hold an approved Field Director status, have experience in BC archaeology, and possess a degree in archaeology or anthropology. The position offers competitive pay and a signing bonus alongside meaningful projects.

Qualifications

• Approved Field Director status (Northwest Coast) or close to completion.
• Experience in BC archaeology, preferably Coastal.
• Valid BC driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Lead archaeological assessments and fieldwork in exciting locations.
• Prepare reports and site forms.
• Work with Indigenous communities and regulatory colleagues.
