Job summary

EllisDon Corporation is seeking a Field Coordinator (M&E) to support on-site mechanical and electrical activities on complex projects. You will coordinate inspections, interpret plans, and provide technical guidance to contractors while addressing conflicts across trades.

The role requires 1–2 years of construction engineering and layout experience, with asset consideration for MEP coordination and commissioning support.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-2 years construction engineering and layout experience.
• Experience in MEP coordination, commissioning support, closeout coordination, or related construction roles considered an asset.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to represent the company professionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and authorities as required by the contract.
• Support with on-site mechanical & electrical activities to comply with specifications, requirements and codes.
• Provide direction during functional performance testing of all mechanical and electrical systems.
• Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for contractors.
• Continually find solutions to conflicts in structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications by conferring with the Consultants and co-ordinate these solutions with the various sub-trades.

You as a Field Coordinator (M&E) will:

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000.
