Qualifications

• Demonstrate effective field skills through post-secondary degrees or relevant cattle industry experience.
• High attention to detail and precise work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Moderate computer skills and proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Research Team Management and veterinarians on field projects.
• Support research studies with field implementation and client-site communication.
• Optimize field data collection and data quality control.
• Engage in projects related to animal health, feeds and nutrition, performance, and marketing strategies.
• Assist with feeding systems (e.g., Vytelle or GreenFeed) at client sites and training on software tools.
• Perform field work across client sites within ~2 hours of Okotoks, with overtime and weekend work as needed.
• Participate in field duties like cattle handling, sampling, and data entry.
