Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited school and Alberta licensure or eligibility.
• Substantial beef cattle experience (cow‑calf or feedlot).
• Strong data‑driven decision making and herd health knowledge.
• Excellent communication and ability to train farm staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform bovine clinical work including field surgeries, diagnoses, and welfare assessments.
• Provide advisory services using data to monitor herd health and drive recommendations.
• Coordinate on‑site training for cow‑calf and feedlot teams and collaborate with nutrition/data teams.
• Maintain client relationships and navigate regulatory considerations as needed.
