TELUS Cattle Professional Services Inc. is seeking a skilled veterinarian to specialize in bovine health.

The role combines clinical work with data‑driven insights to improve herd health, profitability, and sustainability for beef and dairy producers across Alberta and beyond. You will balance animal welfare with economic returns, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact while serving as a trusted advisor to producers.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and Alberta licensure required where applicable.
• Substantial beef cattle experience (cow-calf and/or feedlot).
• Proficient in herd health management and data‑driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform bovine surgeries and assisted calvings in field settings.
• Conduct pregnancy diagnoses and breeding soundness exams.
• Diagnose and treat common bovine health conditions across feedlot, cow-calf and dairy operations.
• Utilize data to monitor health parameters and perform ad hoc analyses.
• Communicate protocols, research findings and recommendations to client operations.
• Coordinate training of farm staff and veterinary assistants on-site.
