The Commercial Buyer will be responsible for the execution and evaluation of trades for the Commercial Metals Trading Group. The Commercial Buyer will be responsible for analyzing the metals commodity market, both foreign and domestic, as it pertains to demand, inventory, and margins. This position will be the channel for evaluating physical and financial trading and asset enhancement opportunities, both via organic and inorganic sources.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position out of our office in Red Deer, AB.
This position will be the channel for evaluating physical and financial trading and asset enhancement opportunities, both via organic and inorganic sources. This position is responsible for all aspects of executing physical shipments. In this role, the buyer will be responsible for contract execution of physical trades as per contractually agreed terms in a safe and cost-effective way.
