Job summary

Chandos Construction in Calgary is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects across Western Canada. You will collaborate with field operations, clients, consultants, and preconstruction teams to drive project success from mobilization to closeout, with periodic site time and travel.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience with a General Contractor
• Experience delivering bridges, LRT infrastructure, transit stations/hubs, or other complex transportation structures
• Proven experience managing forecasts, budgets, cost control, schedules, risk, and change management
• Willing and able to travel up to 40-50% as required

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of transportation infrastructure projects from mobilization through closeout
• Partner closely with field leadership, preconstruction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
• Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration
• Develop and maintain accurate cost reports, cash flow projections, and project forecasts
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify cost, schedule, and execution risks
• Support change management, claims, and client communications
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and in accordance with Chandos quality standards
• Collaborate with superintendents and project teams to optimize construction sequencing and project execution
