Job summary

OCL Group Inc. is seeking a highly organized Project Controls Specialist/Scheduler for a major construction project in Canada. The role reports to the Project Manager and focuses on planning, scheduling, and progress forecasting using Primavera P6 in a field environment.

You will work closely with superintendents, project coordinators, and management to ensure accurate progress tracking, risk assessment, and timely reporting of KPIs across multiple phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in project controls on major construction projects.
• Knowledge of cost accruals and reporting.
• Familiarity with KPI reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Coordinate input from PMs, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to align schedules.
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and distribute schedule reports and dashboards for management and clients.
• Ensure schedules meet contractual obligations and company procedures.
