Job summary

telMAX is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor to lead 20+ field technicians across Western GTA regions, primarily Oakville and Mississauga. You will drive installations, repairs, and maintenance of fibre networks, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

This hands-on leadership role blends people management with field operations and process improvement. Reporting to the VP of Customer Operations, you’ll streamline workflows, monitor KPIs, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of field operations experience with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience leading a large, diverse team of field technicians/contractors.
• Knowledge of fiber optic networks, outside plant construction, and RF tech.
• Vendor/contractor management and performance oversight.
• Strong process improvement and quality assurance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse field technician/contractor team to ensure high-quality service.
• Oversee day-to-day field operations, staffing, routing, and equipment needs.
• Resolve escalations, ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide hands-on field support for installations when needed.
• Track KPIs and report performance to leadership.
