TelMAX Inc. in York Region is seeking a Field Operations Contract Manager to provide technical oversight and quality control for subcontracted fibre installations across residential, business, and MDU sectors.

The role requires hands-on FTTH experience and the ability to inspect, assess, and resolve complex field issues. You will act as a technical authority with limited supervision, ensuring installations meet designs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with

Qualifications

Extensive experience in telecommunications field operations.
Hands-on FTTH installation experience including fibre cabling and splicing.
Experience overseeing or inspecting subcontracted telecom installation work.
Knowledge of telecom installation standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to independently assess field installation quality and resolve technical issues.
Experience supporting residential, business, and MDU telecom installations.

Responsibilities

Administer and enforce subcontractor agreements for fibre and broadband installations.
Oversee subcontractor execution for residential, business, and MDU fibre work to ensure spec compliance.
Inspect ongoing installations to verify quality and adherence to design.
Identify deficiencies and direct corrective actions.
Provide cabling, splicing, and fibre installation guidance as needed.
Coordinate field deployment activities and track progress against timelines.
