Job summary

Trouw Nutrition in Chilliwack is seeking a Feed Mill Operator to support bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping. You will help maintain smooth operations, identify issues, and contribute to safe, efficient production in a rotating shift schedule.

The role emphasizes hands-on machinery operation, quality control, and timely data recording. Candidates should have manufacturing experience and be able to lift 25 kg, with forklift certification preferred.

What You’ll Do

Feed Mill Operator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient production of livestock feed through bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping at Chilliwack Mill. You will maintain smooth operations by identifying and resolving issues proactively.

• Operate production machinery and identify opportunities to optimize performance
• Ensure quality and food safety standards are met
• Meet or exceed production targets, record data on production orders and activities
• Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
• Promote awareness of unsafe situations and take appropriate action

Who We’re Looking For

• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience (asset)
• Good computer skills
• Forklift certification (preferred)
• Boiler certificate (Class 5 or higher, preferred)
• Ability to work in rotating shifts: 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
