Job summary

Harrow College is seeking a full-time Lecturer in ESOL to teach on full and part-time ESOL courses from Pre-Entry to Level 2 across the School of English, ESOL and Maths.

The role requires a degree or Level 3 in a relevant vocational area, a CELTA/Cert TESOL, ESOL FE teaching experience, and a willingness to deliver numeracy and IT for ESOL with High Needs learners. Level 5 teaching qualification or willingness to work towards is required.

Qualifications

• Must have degree or Level 3 in relevant vocational area.
• CELTA or Cert TESOL qualification.
• Experience teaching ESOL in FE to adults and young learners, including High Needs.
• Ability to deliver Numeracy, IT for ESOL, and vocational subjects (Entry to Level 1).
• Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by FE, or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Teach ESOL on full and part-time courses across Pre-Entry to Level 2.
• Deliver group tutorials, numeracy and IT for ESOL, including High Needs learners.
• Evening teaching may be required.
