City College Peterborough is seeking an experienced English tutor to plan and deliver GCSE English courses across several levels. You will support learners to reach their potential and foster an engaging learning environment. The role involves contributing to department development, providing tutorial support, and handling related administrative tasks.
A minimum of Level 3 English and a Level 3 Education and Training qualification are essential. This is a sessional contract.
We have a great opportunity based at City College Peterborough to become a key member of our Skills for Life department. As an experienced English tutor, you will be required to plan and deliver GCSE English courses across a range of levels in an inspiring manner; you will support your learners to achieve their full potential and create a positive and engaging learning environment. The job role will include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position. The successful candidate will need to have experience in delivering English to adult learners. A minimum of L3 English or equivalent is required as well as a minimum of level 3 Education and Training qualification is essential to carry out this role.
