FCU Community Financial in Powell River is seeking a permanent, casual Financial Service Representative to join our customer-focused team. The role centers on helping members achieve their financial goals through service excellence and accurate banking transactions.

You will develop product knowledge, support day-to-day banking needs, and guide members on mobile tools, while contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace that values community impact.

• High School Diploma (preference will be given for post-secondary education).
• 1-3 years experience in customer service (retail, hospitality, and or financial industry).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented focus and the ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of deposit and lending products and services is preferred.
• Successful relationship-building skills.
• A positive attitude towards teamwork and cooperation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• A proven ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with or without a calculator.
• Initiative, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential attributes.

This is a casual position requiring availability Monday–Friday supporting our Powell River.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:

What You’ll Earn:

This role offers a salary range of$ 24.38 to $27 perhour. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills,previousexperience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
