Job summary

Steinbachonline is seeking a team member to provide information, assistance, and service to customers to promote sales and meet needs. You will receive merchandise, prepare and deliver products, and ensure proper inventory storage while maintaining a safe working environment.

The role requires a valid Class 5+ driver’s license, a positive professional attitude, and the ability to work Saturdays. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting, climbing, and kneeling, and may need to obtain

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 or higher driver’s license.
• Positive, professional approach and attitude.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including most Saturdays.
• Knowledge of farming operations is an asset.
• Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing and kneeling.
• Must obtain TDG, WHMIS, Propane and Forklift Certificates as a condition of employment.
• Safety Sensitive Position; subject to alcohol & substance policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, assistance and service to customers to promote sales and meet customer needs.
• Receive merchandise and meet customer needs and expectations.
• Operate and maintain all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
• Pick, prepare and deliver products as directed by the manager.
• Ensure proper storage of inventory in all areas.
• Perform housekeeping duties in all areas, buildings, facilities and yards.
• Other duties as assigned.
