This full-time, on-site role offers a stable schedule, overtime during peak periods, and the chance to contribute to regenerative farming practices on a large rural operation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily field operations for crop production.
  • Operate GPS-guided machinery safely during seeding, spraying, and harvest.
  • Assign tasks and support workers to maintain efficiency and safety.
  • Keep accurate records of field activities, inputs, and notes.
  • Prepare grain and maintain farm/equipment during off-season.
  • Monitor farm safety and assist with maintenance coordination.
  • Load/unload grain and supplies as needed in yard and field.
  • Support regenerative farming practices and day-to-day crop management.
  • Other duties as required.

Title of Position: Farm Supervisor

Terms of Employment: Full-time permanent position, on-site in a rural Saskatchewan farm setting, with a 3-month probationary period. Seasonal overtime and weekend work may be required during busy periods.

Wage: $28-$30/ hour

Education: No Degree Certificate or Diploma

Work Experience: 1 year to Less than 2 years

Job Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate daily field operations for crop production on a 3,500-acre regenerative grain farm.
  • Operate and oversee the safe use of farm machinery, including GPS-guided equipment, during seeding, spraying, harvest, and general fieldwork.
  • Assign tasks, provide hands-on direction, and support farm workers to keep work moving efficiently and safely.
  • Keep accurate records of field activities, equipment use, inputs, and production notes.
  • During off season, prepare grain for shipping, prep machinery for next year and maintaining the farm/equipment as well as snow removal.
  • Monitor and enforce farm safety practices, including equipment checks and safe work procedures.
  • Assist with basic equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and coordination of maintenance needs.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize grain, supplies, and materials as needed in the yard and field.
  • Help support regenerative farming practices and day-to-day crop management across the operation.
  • Other duties as required when required.
Job Requirements
  • Previous farm supervisory experience is required or several years of grain farming experience, with the ability to lead in a hands-on setting.
  • Experience operating farm machinery and GPS-equipped equipment is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and perform physically demanding work outdoors.
  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential.
  • Good attention to detail for crop conditions, safety, and record-keeping is required.
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are assets for rural farm work.
  • Willingness to work long days, weekends, and in changing weather conditions during peak seasons.
