Job summary

Dharam Greenhouse Limited in Creston, BC is hiring a Farm Supervisor to oversee daily farm operations and supervise a team of 16–20 workers. The role is permanent and full-time, paying 20.50 CAD per hour for a 40-hour week.

Responsibilities include inventory management, harvest sorting, worker training, safety and biosecurity, as well as maintaining records and ensuring compliance with farm procedures.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English as the primary language of communication.
• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• Experience in agriculture or farm supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct farm feed inventory activities.
• Divide freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• Train farm workers in seed cutting techniques.
• Weed crops and manage field labor.
• Develop and implement farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
• Provide crop services: plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
• Maintain quality control and production records.
• Oversee growing and crop-related operations.
• Maintain work records and logs.
• Perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements
