Job summary

Fraser Valley Packers Inc. in Abbotsford, BC, is seeking a Farm Labourer to support blueberry crops on-site. You will work outdoors under supervision and contribute to planting, pruning, harvesting and general farm tasks.

Candidates should be comfortable with outdoor conditions, team-based work, and following safety procedures. No formal education required; experience is an asset. This position offers on-site employment with opportunities for training and advancement within a busy farming

• Organize tasks to accomplish the work

• Weeding
• Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
• Maintain work records and logs
• Hire and train staff
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Perform general farm duties
