Job summary

Darren Larson Farms Ltd in Weyburn, Saskatchewan is hiring a Farm Labourer to join our team. Starting immediately, this full-time year-round position offers wages of 24.98 CAD per hour, with accommodations and farm-house transportation provided.

No formal education is required, and training is available. Duties include soil preparation, operating tractors and farm machinery, planting, harvesting, and general farm maintenance. Wrapping up tasks in all weather conditions is expected.

• Willing to work long hours during seeding, spraying and harvesting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and irrigate soil
• Operate tractors, air seeders, combines, grain carts, augers and other agricultural machinery used in grain production.
• Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport.
• Assist with general farm maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while following workplace safety procedures.
• May perform other grain farming and general farm labour duties.

Job Duties
