Housing is a possibility for the right candidate. The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, familiarity with electrical systems on farm machinery, and ability to operate tractors and other equipment

Qualifications

  • Proven dealership or hands-on experience with farm machinery.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural equipment.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools; welding experience.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as tractors and harvesters.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting in demanding environments.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair various farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, plows, and tillage equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire repairs, and fluid checks.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and tractors with implements.
  • Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Conduct welding and assembly tasks to repair or modify machinery components.
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs.

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural and heavy equipment. Your hands‑on skills will ensure that farm machinery operates efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. During harvest, you would operate farm equipment and be part of the harvest team to make sure crops are harvested and stored as efficiently as possible. Duties
  • Diagnose and repair various farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, plows, and tillage equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire repairs, and fluid checks to keep equipment running smoothly.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, combine, tractors with dump wagens and manure spreaders.
  • Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on diverse farm equipment.
  • Conduct welding and assembly tasks to repair or modify machinery components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs for all repairs and maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Proven dealership experience or hands‑on experience working with farm machinery and heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive repair techniques.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators, combine and tractors with implements
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments regularly.
  • Electrical experience related to farm machinery systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
