Job summary

Agriterra Equipment is hiring an Agriculture Equipment Technician to service a broad range of equipment across top brands. You will diagnose, repair, perform maintenance, and conduct pre-delivery inspections, both in the shop and in the field, with manufacturer training provided.

The ideal candidate has journeyman credentials or equivalent, enjoys problem solving, and can handle CANBUS and electronic scan tool diagnostics. Training opportunities and diverse equipment await.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician or Heavy Equipment Technician preferred (apprentices or other trade qualifications considered)
• Experience with agriculture equipment preferred but not required
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
• Proficient with computer and electrical diagnostics (CANBUS) and using an Electronic Scan Tool

Responsibilities

• Work on a wide range of agriculture equipment and brands (Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Rogator, Bourgault, Morris, Cub Cadet, CAT)
• Diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment
• Pre-season inspections and updates to equipment
• Completion of detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work
• Work in the shop and/or field as needed
• Manufacturer training

Agriculture Equipment Technician

Agriterra is also the first authorized sales and service centre for CAT agricultural products in North America. We are looking for an exceptionalAgriculture Equipment Technicianto join our team.
Experience as an Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred.

What are we looking for?

• A Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred (will also consider apprentices or other trade qualifications)


• Experience with agriculture equipment would be a bonus (including experience growing up or working on a farm), but not required


• Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair or diagnostic challenges


• Proficient with computer and electrical diagnostics (CANBUS troubleshooting and using an Electronic Scan Tool)
