Brouwer Sod Farms Ltd. is seeking a full-time Farm Equipment Mechanic in Keswick, Ontario. You will service, maintain, and repair a wide range of agricultural equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations, with opportunities to perform welding and cutting as needed.

The ideal candidate offers strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. A valid driver’s license is required, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience servicing hydraulic and electrical systems on agricultural equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Valid driver's licence required, company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of agricultural equipment.
• Operate oxy-acetylene welding and cutting equipment is an asset
• Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as required
• Maintains a safe and organized work environment while adhering to all applicable safety regulations and procedures
• Responsible for ordering repair parts as needed and handing in appropriate paperwork to front office for billing.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday: Flexible scheduling available 40 hours per week

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
