Job summary

Six Nations of the Grand River is seeking a Family Wellbeing Navigator to deliver family support services within the Six Nations community. The role reports to the Director of Social Services or a designated supervisor and focuses on strengthening family wellbeing and service delivery.

Preference will be given to Applicants from Six Nations or other First Nations to support programs in a First Nations community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Health-related field.
• Minimum three years relevant experience with First Nation children and families.
• Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is preferred.
• Alternative: acceptable level of formal education with extensive direct experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide family wellbeing services in Six Nations of the Grand River.
• Coordinate with Director of Social Services and designated supervisor.
• Support program delivery for families and children within the community.
