Gitsegukla First Nation seeks a Family Support Worker to promote safety, stability and well‑being for children, youth and families in the Gitsegukla community. You will provide prevention, early intervention, advocacy and family support using a strengths‑based, family‑centred approach.

The Family Support Worker promotes the safety, stability, and well-being of children, youth, and families within the Gitsegukla community. This position provides prevention, early intervention, advocacy, and family support services using a strengths-based and family-centred approach. The role includes direct client support, case coordination, community outreach, and collaboration with Gitsegukla departments, community members, and external service providers.
Education and Experience: Certificate or diploma in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Indigenous Studies, or a related Human Services field. Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience in family support, social services, community outreach, or prevention programming. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. High School Diploma or an equivalent.
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance required.
