Salary: $31.01 per hour
Type: Part-time, 17.5 hours/week, evenings and weekends required
Location: The role involves a mix of office work, community visits, and occasional remote work. Travel within York Region & South Simcoe is required, especially to Aurora at 15150 Yonge Street.
The Gender Affirming Health Clinic provides culturally competent, gender-affirming care to trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse individuals. The team collaborates with community partners to ensure comprehensive support, using a holistic and compassionate approach.
The Family Service Worker supports clients' families, focusing on gender identity, transition-related support, and mental health. Responsibilities include assessing needs, developing support plans, psychoeducation, system navigation, and supporting recovery efforts in collaboration with the team.
This position reports to the Manager, People and Teams.
Office, community settings, home visits, and travel required.
