Job summary

Lillooet Tribal Council is seeking a Family Preservation Worker (1.0 FTE) to support family and community functioning and enhance safety and well-being of children and youth at risk in the Lillooet area.

Responsibilities include providing prevention and early intervention programming, working solo and in a team, maintaining records and reporting; candidates must be willing to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check and have a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2-year college diploma in Child & Family or a related accreditation.
• Knowledge and understanding of St’át’imc culture and ability to work with Aboriginal people.

• Responsible for records, file maintenance, and reporting.
• Must be willing to submit to and clear a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
