Role and Facility Information:

This is a full-time established practice in a well-equipped 10-doctor clinic located on the mainland, 120 km northwest of Vancouver. The community offers outdoor activities such as parks, beaches, lakes, hiking, and mountain biking trails. It also has a local Academy of Music and cultural and recreational facilities. Thanks to one of the mildest climates in Canada, residents enjoy gardening, golfing, and fishing year-round. Powell River boasts a thriving arts community and spectacular West Coast scenery, making it a desirable place to live. It is accessible by car, ferry, and air.

Major industries include forestry, tourism, and fishing. The town supports approximately 20,000 inhabitants and offers various amenities. Residents enjoy fishing, hiking, diving, canoeing, sailing, walking, and kayaking.

EMR: Juno Oscar.

On-Call: Weekend call is 1 shift per 9-week rotation.
