Job summary

Health Match BC is assisting a full-service family practice in Chemainus on Vancouver Island. The clinic features an on-site procedure room for lumps and bumps and shares call coverage for the nearby long-term care facility.

A collegial team of five family physicians and one nurse practitioner collaborates with an LPN on site three days weekly. The remuneration is fee-for-service with Rural Incentives under the RSA, and benefits include recruitment incentive, relocation funding, a 4.20% fee

Job description

Role and Facility Information

Full-service family practice in a FP clinic. Procedure room on-site for lumps and bumps. Shared call coverage for local LTC facility across the street. A collegial group of five FPs and one NP. We also have an LPN on site three days per week. Social worker attached to practice via PCN.

FFS, LFP with Rural incentives noted below

Benefits

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: (subject to change)

• Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
• Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
• Fee Premium: 4.20%
• Annual Flat Fee: $6,508.80
• Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
