The Namgis First Nation invites a physician to join their health team on Cormorant Island, Alert Bay. You will work in a clinic alongside two physicians and a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities spanning ER coverage, inpatient hospital care and long-term patient care. Housing can be provided on-site.

The Namgis First Nation is looking for a physician to join the health team. The physician will work in clinic with 2 physicians and other health team members: including 2 community care nurses, 2 mental health workers, addictions counselors and a social worker. There are also visiting occupational therapists, social work, mental health, intensive case managers and a midwife. Additionally, visiting specialists include Pediatrics, Rheumatology, Ophthalmology and Psychiatry. The position requires ER coverage, inpatient hospital care and long-term patient care. Both the clinic and hospital are located on the Namgis First Nations reserve. The position is salaried, and housing can be provided.
