Job summary

Health Match BC is seeking a full-service family physician for a busy FP clinic in Chemainus on Vancouver Island. An on-site procedure room supports lumps and bumps, with shared call coverage for the nearby long-term care facility and a collegial group of five FPs and one NP.

On-site LPN three days a week and a social worker attached via PCN enhance patient care. Remuneration is fee-for-service with rural incentives; relocation funding, a recruitment incentive, an annual flat fee, and rural CME

Role and Facility Information

Full-service family practice in a FP clinic. Procedure room on-site for lumps and bumps. Shared call coverage for local LTC facility across the street. A collegial group of five FPs and one NP. We also have an LPN on site three days per week. Social worker attached to practice via PCN.

• Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
• Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
• Fee Premium: 4.20%
• Annual Flat Fee: $6,508.80
• Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
