Job description

The SOGH Emergency Department has overlapping shift coverage during the busiest times of day, adjusted depending on the season. Shift times are 0700-1500, 1300-2000, and 1900-0700 in the winter, and daytime shifts are one hour longer in the busy months.

The collegial Emergency team in Oliver has 2 positions available. We have a great group of FP and FP-ER physicians from various backgrounds – including CCFP(EM) and FP-EM, who support the emergency at SOGH. CCFP-EM/FP-EM is not required but is always welcome.

We are proud to be actively involved in collaboration with the University of British Columbia’s Southern Medical Program. You will have the opportunity to make an impact on Family Practice Residents. Within the medical community, there are many other opportunities if you desire to broaden your scope of practice too.
