Jobs Finder is seeking a Corporate Controller and Financial Analyst to lead daily financial operations for a Family Office. You will manage financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls while supporting the CFO and Owner on strategic initiatives.

You will prepare statements, manage audits, and provide insightful analyses to optimize performance, investments, and multi‑generational planning. Strong discretion, senior experience, and Canadian tax knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Over eight years of experience in a senior finance and accounting role.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant in Canada.
• MBA in Finance, CFA or Chartered Portfolio Manager designation would be desirable.
• Good understanding of Canadian corporate and personal tax principles.
• Experience with accounting systems, budgets, forecasts, internal controls, and cash management.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, performance reports, and other documentation for each entity, providing insights into the family’s financial position.
• Oversee year-end reports, manage the audit process, and coordinate with external auditors.
• Complete monthly reporting and financial statement analysis.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts to identify discrepancies and investigate monthly.
• Oversee cash management/treasury activities and monthly reporting.
• Prepare dashboards and KPI reports for all entities and executives.
• Support CFO in tax returns and strategic financial planning.
• Review investment terms and monitor financial risk alongside the Investment Advisor.
