Family Caregiver Position

Monica Cybulski is looking for a kind and reliable Family Caregiver to help care for her elderly mother at their home in Pierrefonds, QC (H9J 3N5). This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a difference in someone’s daily life.

Location: Sherbrooke, Beaconsfield H9W 1N4
Employment Type: Term or Contract
Schedule: Day shift | 30 to 40 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly
Vacancies: 1
Workplace: On-site, in the employer’s home (not remote)

Languages: English or French

Education & Experience:

Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
1 to less than 7 months of caregiving experience

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal and bedside care
2. Assist with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
3. Administer medications as directed
4. Help with walking and light exercise
5. Prepare and serve healthy meals
6. Assist with feeding when needed
7. Do light housekeeping and laundry
8. Offer companionship and emotional support
9. Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
10. Report any health or safety concerns
