Job Title: Fall Protection Specialist

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Fall Protection Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Grow sales of 3M Fall Protection products within the Ottawa Region, Maritimes and Atlantic Canada
• Contribute to achievement of national sales targets for Personal Safety Division (PSD)
• Identify and close new business opportunities and increase 3M share of wallet with end user customers in sales territory with a focus on identified market segments
• Establish and enhance business relationships with major distributors in territory including conducting product training and education on 3M value proposition
• Management of CRM system, Salesforce

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Post Secondary Education (completed and verified prior to start)
• Three (3) years of Professional Selling in the industrial and/or construction space in a private, public, government or military environment
• Exceptional selling and territory management skills
• Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years of solution safety selling in fall protection/personal protective equipment
• Skills include collaboration and teamwork, influencing others, focus and resilience, and adapting to change

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible: Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Eastern Canada bimonthly.

Travel: May include up to 50% Eastern Canada.

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
