Job summary

Activate Learning Group is seeking a highly organised Faculty Operations Manager to oversee Lifeskills Faculty operations across Oxfordshire and Berkshire, supporting SEND and LLDD, Foundation Learning and ESOL. The role covers student registration, attendance, learning hours, and liaison with awarding bodies, while coordinating staff planning and inductions.

You will drive process improvement, enable teamwork across locations, and ensure compliance with internal management, quality, and admin

Qualifications

• Experience in FE environment is desirable.
• Organised, proactive and committed to improving the experience of staff and learners.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across teams and locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day faculty operations relating to student and academic matters.
• Manage student registration, attendance, tracking learning hours, and liaising with awarding bodies.
• Plan staff, administer sickness and holiday planning, staff observations, mandatory training and inductions, ensuring compliance with procedures.
