Job summary

Intact is seeking a Facility Technician II in Montreal to join a growing team focused on maintaining safe, efficient facilities. This role supports access management, inspections, and equipment setup while upholding health, safety, and security standards.

You will collaborate with building representatives and internal teams, manage administrative tasks in line with policies, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external clients regarding facilities and physical resources, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and site security standards.
• Coordinate requests, assess client needs, and respond effectively with attention to risk prevention and safe work practices.
• Provide on-site support for access management, including processing access cards, taking photos, recording authorizations, and assigning workstations and lockers per security protocols.
• Work with building representatives and internal teams to maintain a safe environment and ensure compliance with rules and procedures.
• Conduct preventive inspections and rounds to identify irregularities or safety deviations and take appropriate action.
• Perform administrative duties, such as updating health and safety bulletin boards and maintaining the parking list.
• Support PO creation, tracking, and closure in Oracle per approvals and controls.
• Coordinate maintenance work with building reps and report conditions affecting safety.
• Assist with installation and setup of equipment, such as workstation moves and ergonomic assessments.
• Carry out other related duties as required.

Salary Range (but Not Limited To)

54,900 - 67,100

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About The Role

We are looking for a Facility Technician II to join our growing team!

Location weekly hours: 2020 Blvd Robert Bourassa Montreal – at the office 5 days a week - 35 hours / week.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

• Provide exemplary customer service to internal and external clients regarding facilities and physical resources, while ensuring strict compliance with all standards, procedures, and requirements related to health, safety, and site security.
• Coordinate requests, assess client needs, and respond to them effectively, with particular attention to risk prevention, access control, and compliance with safe work practices.
• Provide on-site support for access management, including processing access cards, taking photos, recording and confirming the required authorizations, and assigning workstations and lockers in accordance with established security protocols.
• Work closely with building representatives, internal teams, and other stakeholders to maintain a safe environment, control access, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable rules, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct preventive inspections and rounds to identify irregularities, hazardous situations, or deviations from safety standards, and take appropriate action or ensure proper follow-up.
• Perform various administrative and related duties in accordance with applicable guidelines and the requirements of the role—for example, updating the health and safety bulletin board documents on each floor and maintaining the parking list.
• Provide support for purchase orders (POs) in the Oracle system, including their creation, processing, tracking, and closing, in accordance with approval processes, internal controls, and applicable procedures.
• Communicate with building representatives to coordinate maintenance work, report any condition that could compromise safety, and ensure that interventions are carried out safely and in compliance with established requirements.
• Support the installation and setup of equipment, such as workstation relocations, ergonomic assessments, and accommodations, and provide assistance in this regard.
• Perform other related duties as required.

What You Will Bring
